Shari McLain

Shari McLain Shari McLain is the Center for Multimedia Art’s (CMA) Usability Researcher. She is the area director for user-centered design research and practices. In collaboration with other CMA area directors and student staff, she project manages both client-based usability services and research-based usability studies.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in August 2007 from the University of Memphis, majoring in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations and is currently a U of M graduate student, pursuing a Master’s in Public Relations.

Ms. McLain’s most recent CMA projects include business development, research funding development, usability lab operations, usability testing, as well as designing and planning of usability studies, conducting preliminary study research, performing observational analyses in the field and in the lab, and creating study result reports and recommendations while planning and implementing the CMA’s new usability services initiative.
